What You Will Do:
- Operate a front-end loader and other heavy equipment to move materials to bins for use in concrete production.
- Maintain and operate all assigned equipment in accordance with company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Keep aggregate bins filled according to production needs and job specifications in a timely and efficient manner.
- Charge the dry-batch plant with raw materials using the wheel loader, maintaining a consistent supply to meet output expectations.
- Manage materials inventory at acceptable levels, ensuring availability for scheduled production.
- Verify that drivers dump materials into the proper pits and maintain clear communication with the trucking team.
- Perform general maintenance on the loader and plant equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety.
- Follow General Plant Maintenance checklists and perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the yard, Connex, ramp, and plant site.
- Remove material buildup from pits weekly for cleaning and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy equipment in manufacturing or construction environment.
- Knowledge of material handling, inventory management, and safety procedures.
- Basic mechanical skills for performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Able to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and drivers.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, lift, stretch, push, pull, twist, kneel, stand, walk, sit, and reach.
- Ability to safely climb up and down stairs and/or ladders.
- Ability to work primarily outside, with exposure to the extremes of hot or cold weather.
