Loader - 1st Shift

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Uses forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to safely move and position items onto the vehicle.
• Inspects for damages, defects, or any other issues that could impact the quality of the products and reports any quality concerns to supervisors or appropriate personnel.
• Arranges load requirements to maximize trailer use and minimize imbalance, unnecessary movement, and damage.
• Counsults with warehouse personnel, drivers, or other loaders to ensure smooth loading operations.
• Conducts preliminary safety checks of equipment, checks orders, and verifies trailer size and number.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Contributes to maintaining accurate inventory records and helps to track stock levels, monitor product availability, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Determines that the weight distribution on the truck is balanced to maintain stability and prevent accidents during transportation.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior relevant work experience of 0-1 year.
• Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46 per hour or $35,800 - $56,800 annually for full-time employees. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
