Loader 1 - 2nd Shift
Duties And Responsibilities
- Operates a propane sit-down forklift.
- Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order.
- Loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials.
- Moving products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
- Inspect the forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety.
- Verify piece counts on each pallet and compares to label.
- Material handling of all products.
- Follow shipping work orders.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Highly motivated with good sound work ethics.
- Must demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to detail.
- Team player able to follow instructions from management and peers.
- Ability to learn and operate new equipment.
- Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).
- Strong problem-solving skills and math skills with the capability to calculate square footage and batch size.
Required Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year previous forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Shipping and Receiving.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting or carrying 1-10 lbs occasionally.
- Lifting or carrying 11-20 lbs frequently.
- Lifting or carrying 21-40 lbs continuously.
- Bending or stooping occasionally.
- Reaching above shoulder level occasionally.
- Driving automatic vehicles occasionally.
- Operating machinery or power tools occasionally.
- Climbing (ladders, stairs, etc.) occasionally.
- Walking continuously.
- Sitting occasionally.
- Standing continuously.
- Working in extreme temperatures occasionally.
- Repetitive motion including but not limited to: wrists, hands and/or fingers continuously.
- Vision, hearing, dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and physical stamina continuously.
Working Conditions
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Loading dock and driveways.
- All weather conditions.

The role is performed onsite at our facility located at 10551 Pac Rd, Tyler, TX 75707.
Pay and Benefits
- An Hourly Rate of $21.32.
