Load Planner

About the role
To be successful as a Load Planner, you must work with a sense of urgency while maintaining responsibility for scheduling every inbound truck with an available load in your area.
Responsibilities
- Manage and expand customer base
- Communicate ETAs with customers
- Work with Driver Managers to load every truck in the planning zone
- Team with the Sales Department to create and maintain customer base within your planning zone
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure a great experience, from tendering the load to completion of accurate billing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year accredited college or university (preferred)
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong ability to multitask and interpersonal skills
- 1–3 years of experience in transportation, operations, or safety is a plus
