About the role

Operate a versatile fleet of heavy equipment to support railroad maintenance, transfer, and emergency-response projects. Position is non-DOT and requires a CDL Class A license.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and transport heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, cranes) to and from job sites.
• Perform load adjustments and transfers of railcars, machinery, and materials.
• Assist with maintenance-of-way tasks, emergency response, and other railroad service needs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report mechanical issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company operating procedures.
