LNA - Overnights Charge of Shift

About the role

The Converse Home is a warm and welcoming assisted living community in downtown Burlington. We are currently seeking a CNA to work as the charge of shift for our overnight shifts, 10:30 pm-7 am.

Job Description

As a Charge of Shift, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, provide companionship, and ensure residents receive respectful, high-quality care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality LNA care with compassion and professionalism.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
• Monitor residents’ health status and promptly report changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical documentation.
• Absorb residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care while promoting residents’ dignity and independence.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Follow all community policies and procedures to ensure resident safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have an LNA license from the state of Vermont.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a related setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team-oriented, patient-centered, and compassionate approach to care.
