LNA/MNA Part Time 3p - 11p

About the Role

RiverWoods Manchester is seeking a Part Time Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) for the Evening Shift to provide direct resident care in a team-focused environment. This is a 24-hour per week position with a $3000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care and assists residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting to promote health and independence.
• Assists with mobility and functional nursing care as defined by the nursing care plan, including transfers, ambulation, range of motion (ROM), splint application, positioning, sit-stand lifts, Hoyer lifts, and whirlpool.
• Develops professional relationships with residents, family members, co-workers, and supervisors to enable open communication based on mutual respect.
• Assists with assessments and treatment procedures as defined by the State Nursing Practice Act and facility policy, including taking vital signs (TPRs, BP), weights, specimen collection, skin care, oxygen saturation (O2 stats), and oxygen administration.
• Follows Infection Control guidelines, including Standard Precautions, handling of biohazardous materials, and isolation techniques.
• Assists with care protocols such as falls prevention, safety and elopement, behavior management, skin integrity, and bowel and bladder management.
• Provides assistance and oversight with all nutritional and hydration needs.
• Accepts resident assignment and direction from the Nurse Leader and observes and reports any changes in physical or mental function to the nurse.
• Demonstrates awareness of shared responsibilities for resident care needs and contributes to the general care and order of resident rooms, belongings, and common areas.
• Cooperates with the overall needs of the facility during times of increased demand.
• Understands and follows established facility protocols regarding Resident Rights, abuse reporting, HIPAA, and emergency response.
• Encourages and assists residents in participating in social and recreational activities.
• Accurately documents the level of care provided, including LNA flow sheets and other data collection as defined by the individual Care Plan.

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire LNA License.
• Prior experience working directly with senior citizens is strongly preferred.
