About the role

Apart from providing comprehensive behavioral healthcare, High Focus Centers in Norwalk specializes in treating adolescents and adults with acute psychiatric illnesses and co-occurring disorders through Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient treatment settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs of clients and family members and consults with treatment team regularly
• Facilitates all clinical services for clients including individual and family sessions, therapeutic groups, and referral source/outpatient provider contact
• Maintains clinical records for clients
• Documents and supports utilization reviews
• Participates in aftercare plan development and outcome data processes as applicable
• Conducts Level of Care Assessments as needed

Requirements

• Required: LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT (or are in the process of obtaining) for Connecticut
• PREFERRED: 1 year experience providing group-based mental health treatment to adolescent population (ages 10 to 18)

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Experience in treating adolescents and adults with acute psychiatric illnesses and co-occurring disorders

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment

$52,000 - $60,000/year
