LMSW Clinical Supervisor
Ellie Mental Health – Clarkston is an independently owned and operated private practice serving both the local Clarkston community and the state of Michigan through our office space and telehealth. We manage almost all of your administrative tasks, including billing, so that you can focus on what you love, client care.
About the role

As a fully licensed Approved Clinical Supervisor LMSW, you’ll provide therapy while also supervising LLMSWs. Deliver outpatient care in a fully furnished, welcoming clinic space designed to support both client wellness and clinician comfort. We offer a standout W2 pay model (straight commission) with industry-leading compensation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health intakes, develop treatment plans, and complete timely documentation including diagnoses, treatment plans, and session notes.
- Maintain a minimum of 25 direct client-facing hours per week as a full-time clinician, with an initial scheduling availability of 35 hours per week to support caseload growth.
- Provide supervision to LLMSWs on the team.
Requirements
- Full, unrestricted licensure as an LMSW in the State of Michigan (provisional or limited licensure does not meet eligibility criteria).
- Master’s degree in social work or related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience in creating and implementing treatment plans, as well as maintaining detailed clinical documentation including case notes and diagnostic updates.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that support therapeutic effectiveness, collaboration, and client trust.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and uphold stable, ethical boundaries with clients in a clinical setting.
- Consistently completes session records, service notes, and required documentation promptly.
- Comfortable and confident working with a diverse population across age groups, backgrounds, and presenting issues.
- Proficient in day-to-day office tools and electronic health records (EHR); experience with Valant is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a private practice setting.
- Background in providing clinical supervision or mentoring to limited licensed clinicians.
- Fully licensed clinicians who are credentialed with multiple insurance panels and EAPs.
- Experience leveraging social media and community marketing to amplify visibility, drive engagement, and connect with local audiences.

Pay
$78,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
