Livestock/Pens Dept. B Shift

Responsibilities

• Work directly with cattle: receiving, unloading/loading, ensuring counts are accurate, moving cattle in a humane manner
• Work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm
• Clean cattle and work areas
• Work effectively both independently and with a team
• Prepare accurate paperwork
• Rotate to various jobs within the department
• Operate forklift or other equipment used in the department

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, including walking on elevated platforms/walkways and uneven surfaces
• Ability to withstand varying outside temperatures
• Ability to push, lift, or pull 70+ lbs
• Ability to use all safety equipment
• Previous industry experience preferred
• Stable work history
