About the role
The Transplant Coordinator is a registered professional nurse demonstrating clinical competence. He/she is responsible for the evaluation and coordination of all aspects of renal and pancreas transplants. The Transplant Coordinator provides patient and community education, patient assessment, as well as working with medical staff, outside physicians, and organ procurement organizations.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with medical staff, outside physicians, and organ procurement organizations.
- Provides patient and community education.
- Conducts patient assessments.
- Performs diversified duties with time limitations and high degree of accuracy.
Requirements
- New Jersey RN licensure.
- CPR for Health Care Providers.
- Successful completion of initial competency verification for clinical area.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate in English, both oral and written.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with high degree of accuracy.
- Prior transplant experience.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking, and priority setting skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience in transplant nursing or related field preferred.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Pay
Annual Salary: $93,152 - $149,438. The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Schedule
Mon to Fri, 8:00am to 4:30pm plus on call at a minimum of one week per month.
