Live in Support worker

About the role

As a carer, you will support your customer with a range of tasks throughout the day, both within their home and outside of it. This role may include live-in care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship – sharing conversation and spending time together
• Assist with personal care – bathing, dressing, and continence support when necessary
• Help with mobility – assisting customers in getting around the home
• Oversee medication administration according to the customer’s care plan
• Perform household chores – vacuuming, washing clothes, and other tasks
• Prepare and cook meals
• Run errands – shopping, picking up prescriptions, and similar tasks
• Provide additional medical support – extra training will be provided for complex needs, including first aid
