Live-In Residential Youth Counselor

About the role

PHH, Alaska's leading adolescent residential treatment program, seeks additional team members as Teaching Parents. This position requires a live-in, Case Management Team (married couple) who can inspire and serve as appropriate role models for 5 teens.

Responsibilities

• Emotionally healthy individuals with common sense and humor
• Ability to counsel youth and teach social skills
• Help teens improve academically
• Prefer one team member with a BA in education, counseling, or a related field
• Previous experience in a residential setting with teens is helpful
• Full-time commitment required
• Pass a background check
