Live-in Caregivers wanted

About the role

Griswold Home Care in New Castle County Delaware is seeking experienced and compassionate caregivers for part-time positions in all surrounding areas. Immediate openings are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship
• Help with various responsibilities such as laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation
• Aid with daily tasks including bathing, feeding, and personal hygiene
• Ensure clients receive companionship and support, especially for those with dementia or cognitive impairments
• Complete and submit timely documentation for each shift
• Communicate regularly with the office about client conditions and needs

Requirements

• Valid Drivers License and personal vehicle in good working order with current car insurance (not required for Live-in cases)
• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience
• Comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, and errands
• Positive attitude, reliable, great communication skills, and the ability to work independently
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
