Job Summary. What You'll Do As a Live-In Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities Include Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygieneHelping with mobility, transfers, and ambulationAssisting with daily living activities, including meal preparation, shopping/errands, and light housekeeping.Medication remindersLight housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environmentProviding companionship and emotional supportAccompanying clients to appointments or errands when appropriateMonitoring changes in a client's condition and communicating with the care teamFollow individualized care plans to ensure each client's specific needs are met, and report changes in health status. Requirements No experience requiredPrevious experience in home health care or a related field preferred.Reliable transportation for client visits.Compassionate, patient, and dependableWillingness to live in the client's home during scheduled shiftsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsReliable transportation to and from assignmentsCandidates may be required to complete a background check as a condition of employment, consistent with Connecticut state regulations and applicable federal law. Legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust be reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.
