Live in Caregiver
About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide a helping hand and have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships
- Participate in clients' favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
- Prepare meals for clients to enjoy
- Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
- Report what activities were completed with clients and provide updates on clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Document clients' condition
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
- Uphold the standards of Age-Friendly Care at Home (AFCH) certification by delivering personalized, respectful care that aligns with the 4Ms framework (What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility), and adhering to all Senior Helpers and APFM policies and best practices
Requirements
- Must have experience
- Compassionate and caring individual who enjoys caring for and helping others
- Takes pride in making a difference in others' lives
- Interested in professional growth within a company
Pay
- $230/day
- Same day pay available using TapCheck
- $.25 bonus for each hour worked per year
Location
Cases are serviced in Suffolk County, with flexibility to choose where you want to work. Towns include: Bayport, Blue Point, Bohemia, Centereach, Central Islip, Coram, East Setauket, Holbrook, Holtsville, Islandia, Islip Terrace, Kings Park, Lake Grove, Mt Sinai, Nesconset, Northport, Oakdale, Port Jefferson, Ronkonkoma, St. James, Sayville, Selden, Hauppauge, Smithtown, Stony Brook, West Sayville and out east.
