About the role
Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking experienced Live-In Caregivers. We are currently hiring for Relief Cases and Permanent Live-In Cases. Our clients are located in the Greater Bristol Area, Greater Waterbury Area, Litchfield County and select towns in the Greater Hartford area.
Responsibilities
- Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
- Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
- Converse with patients to provide assurance
- Observe Universal Precautions
- Provide patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping
- Provide patient laundry and linen changes
- Light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Meal preparation and clean up
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Previous experience working as an In-Home Caregiver required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
