Live-In Caregiver – 7 Days On / 7 Days Off Rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Aid with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming assistance, toileting, incontinence care, mobility, and transfers
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Remind about medication
• Assist with errands and appointments
• Document accurately and communicate client updates with the office team
• Follow the client’s care plan and Freedom Home Care policies
• Provide compassionate, reliable, and patient care
• Maintain professionalism and strong communication with clients, families, and the Freedom Home Care team
• Work independently while providing care in the client’s home

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Pass a Minnesota background study
• Complete required TB testing and training requirements
