Live Hanger - DP0015 - Belgravia (Nights)

$19.65 per hour

Schedule

6:52 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime

Responsibilities

• Lift live chickens off a moving conveyor belt and hang them on overhead shackles
• Operate and control the speed of the conveyor belt with a knee-controlled lever
• Remove birds off the conveyor belt that are deemed “Dead on Arrival”
• Utilize a high-pressure hose to wash empty coops and trailers
• Pick up “Dead on Arrival” and loose chickens off the floor
• Clean up feathers and other debris into gondolas or tanks

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (8+ hours) on concrete/metal grate ergonomic stands on the floor
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to meet company-established standards
• Repetitive grasping, pushing, and pulling motions, torso twisting, and lifting of 4–10 lbs
• Able to work in a dark, dusty, cold, or hot environment
