Live Hang/Over Crew - Day Shift

Responsibilities
- Lift live birds weighing 4lb - 9lb off a moving belt and hang them into moving shackles.
- Remove returned chicken feet from shackles as needed before placing live birds onto shackles.
- Maintain and enhance quality and food safety to meet company standards and USDA requirements.
- Perform additional tasks as directed.
Requirements
- Report regularly and on time to work, including overtime and weekends as scheduled.
- Follow established rules, procedures, and accept constructive feedback.
- Work safely and model good working habits.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety guidelines.
- Be capable of passing a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (4lb - 9lb).
- Must be able to stand and walk on a concrete floor for extended periods.
Pay and Benefits
The starting pay rate is $19.00 per hour, with additional premiums for attendance ($0.25), shift ($0.50 and $1.00 for swing and night shifts), and longevity ($0.25 after one year of service).
