About the role
This role focuses on helping customers in real time through live chat, resolving questions quickly and keeping every interaction friendly and helpful.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries in real time through live chat
- Manage multiple chat conversations at once without sacrificing quality
- Troubleshoot issues and guide customers to solutions
- Provide accurate product, service, and account information
- Escalate complex issues to the right team
- Document interactions and update customer records
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and empathetic tone
- Help keep knowledge-base articles and canned responses up to date
- Perform additional customer support tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in customer service, support, or related roles
- Excellent written communication and grammar skills
- Fast and accurate typing of 45 or more words per minute preferred
- Ability to multitask across several conversations at once
- Comfortable using chat, help desk, and CRM tools
- Patient, empathetic, and solution-oriented
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
