Litigation Paralegal - Mid Senior Level Support!

About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and highly respected law firm, is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Litigation Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice. This role will work closely with attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial preparation and resolution. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage litigation cases through all stages of the case lifecycle.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence.
- Coordinate and manage state and federal court filings, including e-filing.
- Assist with discovery, document review, production, and organization.
- Prepare deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials.
- Conduct legal research and factual investigations.
- Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and docketing requirements.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party vendors.
- Coordinate witness interviews, expert disclosures, and trial preparation.
- Support attorneys with case strategy, document management, and litigation support functions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably within a law firm environment.
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and state and federal court rules.
- Experience managing complex litigation matters and large document productions.
- Proficiency with e-filing platforms, legal research tools, and document management systems.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's degree.
- Trial preparation and courtroom support experience.
- Experience with Relativity, iManage, Westlaw, LexisNexis, CaseMap, or similar litigation support platforms.
- Employment, commercial, insurance defense, products liability, or business litigation experience.

Skills
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience supporting attorneys through all phases of complex litigation. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of state and federal court procedures, e-filing requirements, discovery management, trial preparation, and case management. Experience drafting and reviewing legal documents, coordinating document productions, managing litigation deadlines, and preparing deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials is highly desired.
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced law firm environment. Strong proficiency with legal technology, document management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and litigation support platforms such as Relativity, iManage, Westlaw, or LexisNexis is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to providing outstanding attorney and client support are essential. A Paralegal Certificate and/or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
