Litigation Paralegal (Business)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary and/or lead paralegal on business litigation matters
• Aid in fact investigation and evidence development, including document collection, review, analysis, and production
• Create case summaries, reports, and filings for courts and regulatory agencies
• Organize and manage materials for depositions, motions, hearings, and trials, including exhibits
• Coordinate logistics for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials with attorneys, clients, witnesses, and vendors
• Attend proceedings as needed and utilize trial presentation software
• Conduct factual and legal research, including client and witness interviews
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Track deadlines, maintain case calendars, and ensure compliance with court rules and regulations
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates
• Maintain case files, databases, chronologies, and production logs
• Assist with trial preparation and post-case file management, including records retention and file closure

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate required
• 3-5 years of litigation experience required
• Prior experience supporting financial services litigation strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with e-discovery platforms and trial presentation software
• Solid understanding of litigation procedures, discovery, and court/agency rules
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
