Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all stages of litigation, from initial investigation through trial preparation.
- Conduct research using court databases and online resources to obtain case-related information.
- Review, analyze, and organize document productions from opposing counsel and third parties.
- Prepare summaries of deposition transcripts and key case materials.
- Aid in the preparation of materials for expert witnesses, including organizing supporting documentation.
- Maintain well-organized case files and manage large volumes of documents.
- Track deadlines and support attorneys with case management activities.
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure efficient workflow and strong client service.
- Draft subpoenas and coordinate retrieval of medical, employment, and other relevant records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Insurance defense experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience drafting subpoenas and managing records requests.
- Experience with insurance defense or insurance coverage matters is a plus, but not required.
Pay
Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000 USD
