Job Duties
- Serve as a lead paralegal on complex litigation matters
- Assist with fact investigation, evidence development, document collection, review, analysis, and production
- Prepare case summaries, reports, pleadings, and court or agency filings
- Organize and manage deposition, hearing, motion, and trial materials, including exhibits and supporting documents
- Cook up logistics for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials with attorneys, clients, witnesses, vendors, and courts
- Support attorneys during hearings, trials, and other proceedings, including the use of trial presentation software
- Conduct legal and factual research and assist with client and witness interviews
- Track deadlines, maintain case calendars, and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
- Communicate with clients and gather case-related information while maintaining confidentiality
- Create and maintain case databases, chronologies, production logs, and organized matter files
- Aid in trial preparation, records retention, and file closure activities
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of discovery, motions practice, evidence, court procedures, and litigation workflows
- Experience with e-discovery platforms, litigation databases, and trial presentation software
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
