Litigation Legal Secretary (Temporary)

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a boutique real estate litigation firm in Redondo Beach to fill a temporary, on-site Litigation Legal Secretary role. This contract opportunity covers a temporary leave of absence with an anticipated duration of approximately 2 months.

About the role

The ideal candidate will have strong litigation support experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced law firm environment. This role supports one partner in a 3:1 desk arrangement and requires someone who can step in quickly to provide seamless support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and finalize pleadings and other litigation documents
• Format legal documents for filing and service
• Prepare Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents
• Handle e-filing in both California state and federal courts
• Provide general litigation secretarial support as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience as a litigation legal secretary
• Strong knowledge of court filing procedures, including state and federal e-filing
• Proficiency with legal document formatting, pleadings, TOA, and TOCA
• Ability to work fully on-site in Redondo Beach
• Availability to start immediately

Pay

$35.00–$40.00/hour, depending on experience

Schedule

On-site, contract/temporary role lasting approximately 2 months.
