Litigation Lawyer (Remote)

About the role

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney (US) to work on a contract basis. The role involves managing complex litigation matters and providing strategic legal counsel to the organization. The position requires extensive experience in federal and state court litigation, with a focus on high-stakes commercial disputes.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery processes, including drafting and responding to motions, interrogatories, and document requests.
• Represent the organization in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies and arbitral tribunals.
• Develop and execute case strategies aligned with business objectives and legal risks.
• Advise internal stakeholders on litigation risks, compliance issues, and best practices.
• Collaborate with external counsel, experts, and witnesses to strengthen case preparation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in the U.S.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, including trial experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple high-pressure cases.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a focus on drafting persuasive legal briefs.
• Experience with electronic discovery tools and litigation management software.
