Litigation Deputy Division Chief

About the role

LOD is partnering with a dynamic municipality to recruit a Litigation Deputy Division Chief. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Defend against civil claims
• Manage and coordinate with outside counsel on civil claims
• Establish and maintain the department’s litigation budget
• Act as supervisor/manager for other attorneys in the department, including providing coaching, guidance, and feedback

Requirements

• 15+ years of litigation experience
• Experience managing people, teams, processes, and litigation workflows
• Active license to practice law in Georgia, in good standing

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Onsite in Atlanta, 4 days in office, 1 day remote
• Duration: 6-12 months, with potential for permanent placement
• Start date: ASAP

Pay

$80/hour
