Dinsmore has an immediate opportunity to join an established team dedicated to medical negligence and wrongful death defense litigation in the Columbus, Ohio office. Tort and/or litigation experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train a motivated candidate. All experience levels will be considered, including junior and senior associates, and those who are entry-level with a desire to specialize and be trained in medical negligence defense work.
Responsibilities
- Experience drafting and arguing motions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Attending court conferences
- Handling complex discovery and ESI
- Preparing cases for trial
Requirements
- A license to practice in Ohio is required.
- Out of state candidates who are willing to sit for the Ohio bar exam, or eligible for admission in Ohio, will be considered.
Qualifications
All candidates should have a strong academic background, and possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Pay
Competitive salary, benefits, and up to $45,000 + in bonus potential.
