Litigation Attorney – Mass Torts & Medical Malpractice

About the role

This is a great opportunity to manage and support complex litigation matters in a law firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and case strategy memoranda
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations
• Manage and participate in discovery and depositions
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and court proceedings
• Work closely with partners on high-value litigation matters
• Assist with trial preparation and case development

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey or eligible for admission
• 2+ years of litigation experience (preferably 2-10 years)
• Experience in mass torts, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, complex civil litigation, or class actions preferred
• Strong motion practice and legal writing experience
• Experience managing discovery and depositions
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• A stable and consistent employment history is strongly preferred
• Experience working within an established law firm environment preferred

Pay

Annual salary range: $100,000 – $150,000 USD
