Responsibilities

• Defend insurance carriers and their insureds in a variety of litigated claims
• Manage a caseload from initial assignment through resolution, settlement, or trial
• Analyze coverage, liability, damages, and exposure to develop effective defense strategies
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, legal briefs, and other litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, insureds, experts, and witnesses
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial
• Communicate with insurance carriers, claims professionals, and insureds regarding case strategy, evaluation, and resolution

Pay

$130,000 - $175,000 per year
