Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare legal documents for court filing, including but not limited to: pleadings, motions, default judgments, etc.
- Represent client interests; provide strategic legal counsel to staff and clients on a variety of issues.
- Oversee Judicial Foreclosure proceedings, compliance mandates, and property evictions.
- Review court alerts and provide compliance guidance in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work cross-functionally with other attorneys, legal assistants, support staff, and external vendors.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of Ohio and in good standing required.
- Admission to the State Bar of Indiana and/or State Bar of Kentucky is a plus.
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, title, collections, or creditors' rights preferred.
- Knowledge of Ohio court procedures and filing requirements.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills.

Schedule
This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with an average of 40 hours per week. Position may require extended hours and flexible availability outside of the regular business schedule.
