Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload independently from intake through resolution
• Handle trial work, hearings, depositions, and motion practice
• Develop and execute case strategy across assigned matters
• Conduct client intake, maintain client relationships, and provide ongoing counsel
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents
• Collaborate with internal team while maintaining autonomy in case handling
• Contribute to firm growth through client service and potential business development

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the Alaska Bar OR ability to obtain admission quickly
• 5+ years of experience in at least one: Civil Litigation, Plaintiff's Litigation, Criminal Defense, Family Law
• Demonstrated experience with trials, hearings, depositions, and motion practice
• Proven ability to manage cases independently
