Litigation Attorney

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of federal civil litigation experience (mandatory/preferred depending on firm standards)
2. Prior experience handling copyright litigation cases strongly preferred
3. Active state bar license (must be specified in application)
4. Strong experience managing an independent litigation caseload
5. Familiarity with federal court procedures and IP litigation workflows
6. Proficiency in legal research tools (Westlaw)

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced legal research on intellectual property law using Westlaw and other legal databases
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
• Manage full-cycle IP litigation matters including discovery and motion practice
• Advise clients on IP issues including copyrights, trademarks, and patents
• Negotiate settlements and resolve intellectual property disputes
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop litigation and IP protection strategies

• Discovery management (interrogatories, depositions, requests for production)
