Qualifications
- 5+ years of federal civil litigation experience (mandatory/preferred depending on firm standards)
- Prior experience handling copyright litigation cases strongly preferred
- Active state bar license (must be specified in application)
- Strong experience managing an independent litigation caseload
- Familiarity with federal court procedures and IP litigation workflows
- Proficiency in legal research tools (Westlaw)
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced legal research on intellectual property law using Westlaw and other legal databases
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
- Manage full-cycle IP litigation matters including discovery and motion practice
- Advise clients on IP issues including copyrights, trademarks, and patents
- Negotiate settlements and resolve intellectual property disputes
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop litigation and IP protection strategies

- Federal civil litigation and courtroom procedure expertise
- Strong legal writing and motion drafting skills
- Discovery management (interrogatories, depositions, requests for production)
- Negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Ability to independently manage caseloads
