Litigation Attorney

About the role

A well-established and highly respected Texas litigation firm is seeking a mid-level to senior litigation attorney to join its growing team in San Antonio. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking for sophisticated litigation work, strong client exposure, and a more balanced and sustainable practice environment than many larger firms offer.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft and argue motions, conduct legal research, and prepare pleadings and discovery
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and client meetings
• Develop case strategy and work directly with clients
• Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on complex matters
• Assist with trial preparation and trial support as needed
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff when appropriate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience preferred
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Experience handling civil litigation matters in Texas state and/or federal court
• Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships
• Deposition and motion practice experience required
• Trial experience is a plus, but not required
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar

Pay

Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 per year
