Litigation Attorney
About the role
The firm is seeking an experienced associate attorney to support its Mississippi practice. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package based on experience.
Requirements
- Candidate must be a member and in good standing of the Mississippi State Bar.
- 5+ years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ right practice.
- Willing and able to proactively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software.
- Strong foundation in civil procedure, motions practice, and loss mitigation.
- Knowledge of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and creditors’ rights practice generally.
- Experience with court appearances and some attendant travel.
- Commitment to superior client care and proactive communication.
- Self-starter, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Active membership of the Mississippi Bar required; additional bar licenses a plus.
