Litigation Associate - Seattle, WA
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
Must be licensed to practice in the State of Washington.
A license to practice in the State of Oregon, State of Idaho, and/or State of Alaska and documented experience practicing in Washington and at least one of these additional jurisdictions, is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic litigation team.
- Deposition, oral argument, and trial experience preferred.
- Federal and state court experience preferred.
- Experience in either a large law firm or boutique law firm preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers. Physical Requirements: Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
Pay & Benefits
The salary range for this position applies to Washington. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000.
