Litigation Associate (Junior) – AUS

About the Role

Greenberg Traurig (GT) is seeking an Associate for the Litigation Practice in our Austin office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to train and work with a dynamic and nationally recognized practice group at a top global law firm.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of complex commercial and business litigation matters, including breach of contract, real estate, financial services, energy, and fiduciary litigation.
• Prepare for and take depositions, brief and argue dispositive and discovery motions.
• Interface with clients and opposing counsel.
• Manage multiple deadlines and work independently while thriving in a team environment.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of litigation experience.
• Strong familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local rules.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Highly motivated with outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Diligent, self-driven, and able to work independently.
• Interest and aptitude for litigation tasks such as depositions and motion practice.
• Mediation, arbitration, hearing, and trial experience is a plus.
• Must be in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• Local candidates preferred.
