About the role

The Houston office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz seeks an associate with one to two years of complex litigation experience to become an integral part of their Advocacy Department.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility in an active and diverse federal and state court litigation practice.
• Participate in deposition, discovery, motion practice, and trial proceedings.
• Work closely with senior litigators for active mentoring and client contact.

Requirements

• Academically distinguished applicant with excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Analytical aptitude with deposition, discovery, motion practice, and trial experience.
• Bright, hardworking, and responsive attorney with good judgment and attention to detail.
• Texas law license required.
