Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Litigation Associate Attorneys from leading U.S. law firms to contribute their legal expertise to an innovative AI research initiative. In this role, you'll help improve next-generation AI systems by creating, reviewing, and evaluating complex legal content based on real-world legal practice.

This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with strong experience in commercial litigation, M&A, private equity, capital markets, corporate law, or data privacy. No prior AI experience is required—your legal expertise is the key qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze complex litigation, corporate, and transactional legal documents.
  • Draft sample agreements, contract provisions, pleadings, and legal memoranda based on real-world legal scenarios.
  • Evaluate AI-generated legal content for legal accuracy, reasoning, completeness, and practical applicability.
  • Design realistic legal case studies involving mergers & acquisitions, private equity, commercial disputes, capital markets, and data privacy.
  • Develop structured legal evaluation criteria and provide detailed written feedback to improve AI performance.
  • Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining the highest standards of legal quality and professionalism.
  • Document legal reasoning and best practices to support AI model training and evaluation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Active U.S. Bar admission in good standing.
  • Experience practicing at an AmLaw 100, BigLaw, or similarly prestigious law firm.
  • Strong background in one or more of the following:
    • Commercial Litigation
    • Corporate Law
    • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
    • Private Equity
    • Capital Markets
    • Contract Drafting & Negotiation
    • Data Privacy & Regulatory Compliance
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience creating or applying legal review frameworks or evaluation rubrics is a plus.
