Responsibilities
- Research and analyze legal matters involving litigation, M&A, private equity, and capital markets.
- Review, assess, and provide feedback on contracts, transactional documents, pleadings, and other legal materials.
- Identify key legal issues, risks, inconsistencies, and areas requiring clarification or further analysis.
- Provide subject matter expertise on hypothetical and real-world legal scenarios to support AI model development and evaluation.
- Analyze data privacy, regulatory, and compliance considerations relevant to technology and digital assets.
- Apply legal reasoning and professional judgment to structured, rubric-based evaluation tasks.
- Collaborate remotely with legal, research, and technical professionals across multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in virtual discussions, reviews, and calibration sessions to ensure consistent and well-supported analysis.
- Clearly document findings, rationale, and recommendations in accordance with project guidelines.
- Adapt legal analysis to evolving project requirements and different litigation and transactional contexts.
Requirements
- JD or equivalent law degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Recent professional experience at a U.S. law firm or legal organization handling litigation, M&A, private equity, capital markets, or related matters.
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing complex legal and transactional documents.
- Solid understanding of data privacy, regulatory compliance, and technology-related legal issues.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and issue-spotting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fully remote, multidisciplinary environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working across both litigation and transactional matters.
- Experience with data privacy, technology transactions, digital assets, or emerging technology regulations.
- Experience performing structured or rubric-based legal analysis, document review, or quality evaluation.
- Prior experience contributing to legal research, legal technology, AI training, or model evaluation projects.
