Responsibilities
- Assist in case evaluation and pre-litigation strategy for various cases
- Draft pleadings and motions, and propound and respond to discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Conduct research and provide analysis regarding substantive and procedural law
- Appear in court, arbitration, and mediation
- Advises on transactional matters and prepare related documents
- Perform other associate tasks as assigned by leadership
- Championing the firm’s mission, ethics, and values
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in litigation
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Passion for litigation and a commitment to the firm's mission
Skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience with legal technology and software
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
