Litigation Associate Attorney
About the Role
Hinshaw & Culbertson, a leading national law firm, seeks an attorney to join its Defense Litigation practice group in Chicago, Illinois. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team, representing national and international insurance clients in a wide range of complex insurance defense matters, including, but not limited to, general liability, premises liability, professional liability, pollution, construction defect, personal and advertising injury, cyber liability, and excess liability matters. Requirements
- Must be admitted to the Illinois bar in good standing.
- Ideal candidates will have civil litigation experience in both state and federal courts.
- Candidates should be able to draft complicated opinions, motions, and legal memoranda and have strong academic credentials.
- Candidates interested in participating in business development efforts are required.

Pay
Estimated $140,000 to $195,000 for those who will perform work in Illinois. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary range, market data, applicant skills, relevant experience, degrees, or certifications.
