Litigation Associate Attorney

A respected and growing regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Albany office. Responsibilities

• Support commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy development
• Manage discovery processes, including e-discovery and document review
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
• Collaborate closely with partners, colleagues, and clients on litigation strategy
• Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 2–10 years of experience in commercial or business litigation
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Experience with motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation
• Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively within a team

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar required
• Exposure to sophisticated business disputes in state and federal courts
