Litigation Associate

About the role

Vernis & Bowling’s Charlotte, North Carolina office is growing and seeking a driven Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of civil litigation experience. This position supports both our General Liability and Workers’ Compensation departments, so experience in either or both fields is required. We represent national corporate clients and large self-insureds who aren’t afraid to take cases to trial.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload from inception through resolution.
• Gain real, hands-on courtroom and trial experience.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft, file, and aggressively argue substantive motions.
