Position Overview
Germer PLLC is seeking a Litigation Associate with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of insurance defense experience to join its San Antonio office.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other legal documents
- Prepare client reports and case evaluations
- Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations if necessary
- Assist with case strategy and file management
- Support trial preparation and participate in trial as appropriate
- Manage deadlines across multiple active matters
Qualifications
- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the state of Texas
- 3 to 5 years of litigation experience preferred
- Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to grow as a litigator
