Job Details

We are seeking a litigation associate to support a growing practice focused on complex dispute work, including matters involving construction-related claims. This role offers meaningful responsibility early in your career, with direct involvement in active matters and close collaboration with experienced attorneys. You will engage in all phases of litigation, from initial case development through resolution. The practice is team-oriented but provides the opportunity to take ownership of your work and develop strong advocacy skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
  • Manage written discovery, including document production and e-discovery processes
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and case analysis
  • Assist with depositions, hearings, and other court-related matters
  • Support case strategy, client communication, and matter management
  • Collaborate with attorneys and experts on complex dispute matters

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of litigation experience
  • Exposure to commercial, civil, or construction-related disputes is a plus
  • Experience with pleadings, motion practice, and discovery
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Solid academic background

Requirements

  • Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments
  • Strong attention to detail and professional judgment
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Motivated, responsive, and committed to high-quality work product

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is typically Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.

Skills

Our ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as experience with pleadings, motion practice, and discovery. They should be able to work independently while also contributing to a team environment and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
