Literacy Teacher

About the role

The successful candidate will provide instructional coaching support to teachers in the implementation of literacy and science instruction aligned with state standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing professional development and coaching to teachers in literacy and science instruction.
• Evaluate teacher practice and student learning through data analysis and feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with district leadership to develop and implement professional development plans.
• Support the development of curriculum and assessment tools that align with state standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Literacy, Science, or related field.
• Experience in educational settings, preferably in literacy and/or science instruction.
• Strong knowledge of state standards and best practices in literacy and science education.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Literacy, Science, or related field.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring teachers.
• Knowledge of current research and trends in literacy and science education.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience.
