LIT UP: OENO AFTER DARK

The Department of Illumination is seeking event staff to support our upcoming festival, LIT UP: Oeno After Dark, on October 11th. This event transforms Oeno Gallery’s 3-acre Sculpture Garden into an illuminated wonderland featuring over 40 lit sculptures, firecones, live performances, and interactive art installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, including lighting installations and sculpture placement.
• Monitor and guide attendees along winding garden paths.
• Support live performances, including the ABC Choir, North Fire Circus, interactive percussion by Jesse Stewart, and electric violinist Dr. Draw.
• Ensure safety and accessibility throughout the event space.
• Assist with ticketing, crowd control, and attendee inquiries.
• Help with breakdown and cleanup post-event.

Requirements

• Availability on October 11th for a full-day or evening shift (flexible scheduling).
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting light equipment (up to 20 lbs).
• Interest in arts, festivals, or event production is a plus.
