About the role

This position will have the support of a built-in referral network from the clinic with administrative support for billing, scheduling, and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families within the outpatient mental health setting.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct intake assessments and ongoing evaluations to guide treatment planning.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
  • Manage caseloads and ensure timely documentation of patient progress.
  • Engage in community outreach and education initiatives to promote mental health awareness.

Requirements

  • License to practice in the State of Iowa as an LISW, LMFT, or LMHC.
  • Experience in outpatient mental health settings preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Counseling.
  • Current license to practice in the State of Iowa.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate patient needs.

Skills

  • Strong therapeutic skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer software for documentation and scheduling.
